Do the cars need a slot?

No. Carrera HYBRID cars steer themselves along a printed guide line on the track surface, and can also drive free off the track.

What scale is Carrera HYBRID?

1:50 scale, so a full circuit takes up far less floor space than traditional 1:32 slot racing.

How do the cars charge?

Every car charges over USB-C. A full charge takes a few minutes and gives you plenty of race time.

Do I need the app to race?

You need the app to pair a car, set up a race and use lap timing. Controls work on touch or with a paired gamepad.

Can I use my own track layout?

Yes — build any layout from the modules you own, then add it in the app. Our track planner helps you design it first.

How do community challenges work?

Build the published layout, set your best lap, then submit your time. Staff approve entries before they appear on the leaderboard.
